Jeremiah, Jason, and Wyatt (Angie's nephew) were going deer hunting again, so Eli and I went down to Bellefontaine to hang out with Angie for awhile. After the hunters returned, Mom and Dad joined us for dinner and we all went to Marmon Valley Farms for their Christmas program. While we waited for our turn on the hayride, Eli got to pet rabbits and take a pony ride!
After seeing the animals and making a craft, we went on a hayride that showed the Christmas story. There were stops on the ride that depicted the angel appearing to Mary and Joseph, their travel to Bethlehem, the angels appearing to the shepherds, and a live manger scene. Eli was completely enraptured by the whole thing. I was thankful we had already been discussing the story, because the scenes he saw reinforced what we'd talked about!
