Bass Pro Shop

Eli and I made a spur-of-the-moment trip up to Toledo to do some Christmas shopping at Bass Pro Shop. I had a few things I wanted to get for Dad and Eli, and ended up doing some shopping for Mom as well! By the time we left, we'd been in the store for over three hours!

This place is amazing for kids at Christmastime! They had several carnival-style games for them to play, a snowball fight area, trains, remote control cars, and even free pictures with Santa! Eli was in heaven!

Here he is throwing "snowballs" at me!

I had to talk to him several times before he was ready to see Santa, but once he got up there, he was very brave! He asked Santa for a shotgun for Christmas! I was glad we were at Bass Pro Shop, because anywhere else, that might have seemed like a strange request!

I am definitely remembering this for next year! We went to the kids' area three times in all between doing our shopping and eating lunch at the cafe. Eli had a blast and even took a nap on the way home, so we were all happy!
