Disney Vacation- Magic Kingdom Day 2

Our last day at Disney we spent in the Magic Kingdom again. Even spending two days there, I know there were a ton of things we didn't see! We spent part of the morning in Tomorrowland. Eli loved driving the race cars!

We rode Peter Pan's flight, took another ride on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and had a Fast Pass for the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but had to come back later because of a "honey spill on the tracks". We just love how Disney keeps everything in character for the kids! Even a break down on the ride was a magical event in Eli's eyes.

Lunch on our final day was at Tony's Town Square Restaurant where we had yummy Italian food. We hoped to go swimming at the hotel after lunch, but just as we were headed to the pool, the sky let loose with a major thunderstorm and torrential rain! We were already in our suits and wanting to get cooled off, so the kids and I played in the rain! We watched the storm while we waited for our room to finish being cleaned, then the boys passed out for a quick catnap.

Our last evening in Disney was wonderful. We rode It's a Small World again, went through the Robinson Family Tree House, and let Eli explore Adventureland and pick up some pirate maps, and we FINALLY let him get the pirate sword and gun he'd been pestering us about all week! He was so worried we'd leave Disney without getting them... I was glad he was so excited about his souvenir!

We let the boys stay up late again, got some snacks, and watched the Main Street Electrical Parade one more time. The next day was our travel back home- complete with lots of hangups, a scare about Jason's expired driver's license, airport security problems, and almost missing our plane, but we made it home in one piece! Asher's little face here shows how we all felt-- exhausted!

I don't know if or when we will ever get back to Disney World, but we have lots of great memories from this trip!
