Disney Vacation- Hollywood Studios morning

Asher was so exhausted by our Hollywood Studios day that he fell asleep 15 minutes after we arrived. Poor baby slept for over an hour in the stroller! We got Eli signed up for the Jedi Training Academy first thing on a tip from our Disney travel planner- you have to do it right away in order to get a place.

One of our very favorite rides in all of Disney was Toy Story Mania. Eli absolutely loved it, and no wonder, since each room was an arcade-style shooting challenge. He was very happy to be able to ride that one twice!

While Asher was still sleeping, I took Eli to play in the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" playground. It's one of the things I remember best about my trip to Disney as a child! He doesn't know anything about the movie, but he had a great time playing on the giant ant, film slide, and grass treehouse.

Disney's Frozen Summer Fun was another highlight! Ice skating and playing in the snow in the middle of summer in Florida! Who would have thought! It was a welcome relief from the heat for sure! Eli and I ice skated (well, I spent a half hour holding Eli up anyway!) while Jason took Asher to play in the snow.

Part of the Frozen land was photo scenes with the Aurasma app. It was so cool! When you looked at the scene through your phone, the characters from Frozen would appear and move into the picture with you. The kids didn't really understand it, but we tried to get them looking the right way. :)

Asher was having a rough day- just way too tired. But this particular Aurasma pic turned out so funny! It looks like Asher is screaming at Olaf as he somersaults into the picture. Too funny!

We had lunch that day at a Disney Jr. character restaurant. The boys got to meet their favorite- Jake! They also saw Doc McStuffins, Sophia, and Handy Manny. The characters and cast would sing and dance in the aisles between visiting tables.
