Now that Asher has joined our family, it's been hard for me to have time with just Eli. This past week though, we've had two awesome opportunities to spend time together!
First, my dad had a conference at Kalahari Indoor Waterpark, so Eli and I joined him and Mom for two days of swimming and fun! Eli's favorite part was the wave pool- he liked to pretend he was fighting the waves as they came in. As you can see from the pictures below, he took it very seriously!
He also liked shooting hoops in the kids area and we played a few arcade games in the big game room. Lots of fun!
The following weekend, we had tickets to Disney on Ice in Columbus, courtesy of Eli's Grandma and Grandpa Hays. They got tickets for Eli and some of his cousins for their birthdays, and it was really neat. Eli's favorite part was when the prince from Sleeping Beauty slayed the dragon and they lit the ice on fire! Despite both of us being under the weather, it was a good time!
I am so thankful for the chance to spend some one-on-one time with my big guy. I'm more and more aware every day that he'll be in Kindergarten soon and our time together will be even more limited. I'm trying to soak up as many experiences with him as possible!
