Eli and his stories

Eli is forever telling me stories about him and his "guys". These guys do it all- they are rescue workers (ambulance, fire, police), military experts (they have an "enormous" army), and construction workers. Apparently they are also timeless. Eli just came and told me that his guys were born back when the Indians were alive, and the only kind of plants they had back then were cactus. He tells me, "It was very dangerous at that time." He is absolutely serious, and when I laughed and told him I loved his imagination, he said, "No, that really happened." Okay! Guess we aren't joking about this!
