Eli's program at Gardendale Preschool was almost exactly the same as last year- but Eli seemed to have MUCH more confidence this year. He sang out loud and actually seemed to remember the words to most of the songs!
He is so cute, it brings tears to my eyes! It's hard to believe he's getting so big!
After intermission, the kids came out in their costumes for the Nativity play. This year, Eli got to play a wise man.
Here they are, looking for the baby Jesus! Eli was the leader of the group, and at each stop they asked the question, "Is the baby Jesus here?" Eli did great!
After the program, the kids got a visit from Santa. I was a little surprised that Eli talked to him without any prompting. He didn't want anything to do with Santa when we went to Bass Pro earlier in the Christmas season. I asked him what he told Santa he wanted and he said a bike. That's the first he's mentioned wanting a bike and it's five days before Christmas. (Good thing Jason and I already bought him one for Christmas!)
We're so proud of our little man!
