Polar Express, Lebanon-Mason Railroad

Eli got to take a train ride today! Jason and I spent the night near Cincinnati last night to celebrate our anniversary a little late, then met Mom, Dad, and Eli at the train station on Saturday. Eli was excited to see the big train!

On our 30 minute ride to the “North Pole”, the elves on the train made balloon creations for the kids- Eli chose a gun, but promptly took it apart so he could reach farther and mess with Daddy and Papaw.

When we stopped at the North Pole, there was hot chocolate and cookies, and Eli got to color at an easel before waiting in line to see Santa.

Eli sat on Santa’s lap, but went into his “mute” mode! Throughout it all, he kept a tight grip on his cookie!

After seeing Santa, we got back on the train to return to the train station. Eli got another balloon- this time a sword- and found another sword-wielding kid to play with.
