Eli had his 2 month doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and he now weighs in at 12 pounds, 6 ounces, which is the 75th percentile (at his last appointment he was only in the 25th percentile for weight, so he's really been packing it on!). He's now 24 inches long, which is the 90th percentile for height!! He obviously didn't get his height from me or Jason! Those genes came from the extended family!
He also got his first round of immunizations. What a traumatic experience! He had to get three shots, and I felt so bad for him. This first picture was while we were waiting for the doctor. He was so happy all morning, and the poor little guy had no idea what was coming! His eyes were so bright...
... then came the shots. Jason had to hold Eli's arms down and the nurses did all three shots at the same time. Poor Eli's eyes got huge and there was about a two second delay before he started wailing!
He was quite a trooper though. He only cried for a few minutes and whimpered for awhile after that. He slept pretty good that afternoon, but his little legs were pretty sore when he woke up. By Wednesday evening though, he was back to his smiley self! I have a tough little boy!
