Poverty Knob fishing

First, we have traditional fishing:

And Eli's new invention: Bucket Fishing!! This kid is SO funny! When Jason and I arrived to get the boys from a Wednesday night with Grammy and Papaw, they told us that Eli was catching fish in a bucket. I thought they were joking at first, but they were serious! He would put a little piece of a night crawler in the bottom of the bucket and submerge it in the water, then wait very still with his face right down at the water level. When a fish would swim in to get the worm, Eli would snatch the bucket up and catch it. I couldn't believe the size of the fish he was catching this way! He was super proud of himself too. He's the self-proclaimed champion of bucket fishing!
