Eli and I spotted a hawk behaving rather peculiarly right outside our rental house one day. I've never seen a hawk get so close before! It sat on the fence just outside our yard, and Eli walked pretty near to take a couple pictures-- a little too close for my comfort! It did finally fly away, just to come right back and perch in the tree in the other corner of the yard! Eli thought it was awesome, and he took some of the pictures using my camera. I'm thankful Asher was napping-- if he'd gotten that close, I'd be worried about the hawk trying to snatch him!
