Before school started back up after Christmas break, I took Eli to the Boonshoft Discovery Museum for a day. Most of it was a little over his head, but he had fun playing with the exhibits and especially liked climbing the rope stairs! Unfortunately he got stuck at the top step and I had to help him (so NOT safe for a pregnant lady that has developed terrible balance), so he only got to do it once! Maybe we'll go back with Daddy sometime!
We went to another Nature Pals program at the park, this time about snow. Since there was no real snow that day, they had an indoor snowball fight and ice skating- the kids loved it! Eli liked the snowballs so much that I had to make a bunch of them that weekend. He's taken them to a couple playdates already and they are always a big hit!
I'm trying to remember to take pictures around the house just on our "normal" days so I don't forget those little moments- like Eli snuggling his Mr. Bear while he's still in his jammies after breakfast!
We got a big shipment of things to help us get ready for the baby's arrival- Eli was super excited!
And Eli (along with Mr. Bear) had his first visit to the dentist. I wasn't sure how that would go... would he bite them?... but he did great! I was so proud of him. Well, until the dentist made him a sword out of a balloon and Eli used it to hit every hygienist he saw while I was checking out! That was a little embarrassing, but they were all good sports about it!
