We had our second ultrasound today to do a screening for Down's Syndrome and other neural tube defects. The doctor and the ultra sound technician both said everything looks great! Baby's heartrate was 158 beats/minute at this visit.
The baby is growing- almost 3 inches in length now- and he/she was moving constantly. I wish I could feel it! She/He also seems to like to have her/his hand by the mouth, so this baby might turn out to be a thumb sucker.
My mom and dad came with us to the ultrasound, and were absolutely amazed at their first peek at the new grandbaby!
