Oh, Eli. The kid is full of one- liners lately! He was particularly funny today. While I was praying before lunch, I prayed that I would have patience and not ask too much of Eli, and that Eli would listen and make good choices. Eli interrupted the prayer and said, "I already did that, so you don't need to pray for it again." haha! If only it were a one time thing and I never had to remind him again!
Later when I was getting him ready for his nap, he was acting really silly and said, "Stinky poop!" and just started cracking up. I told him that wasn't a very nice thing to say (along with my most serious face) and he responded, "Yeah, but it's pretty funny though!"
Then tonight after dinner, he was once again acting silly and said, "I'm a silly guy! That's just the way God made me!"
I love those moments when he just makes me laugh out loud!
