JAMPD Nature Pals- Pioneer Days

The other day, we went to the park for another nature pals program. This month's program was on pioneer skills and games. The kids learned about making butter, doing laundry with a washboard, processing corn, and a variety of games that pioneer children played. Rita told an interactive story, and the kids got to taste the butter they churned! Eli had a great time!

After the program, we went to Ottawa Metro Park for a picnic lunch and to play on the playground.
