Last week was a jackpot week for Eli as far as motor skills and eating (not so much on the sleep, unfortunately). He started sweet potatoes last week, but didn't really get the hang of it for awhile. After a day's break from trying, we tried again on Friday and he gobbled them down! He's now eating sweet potatoes and squash.
Eli has hated being put on his belly ever since we brought him home from the hospital. We try to do it anyway because of the importance of "tummy time" for developing his muscles, but sometimes it just wasn't worth the struggle. Now, all of the sudden he doesn't mind being on his belly and is holding his head up nice and strong! He gets his little legs moving, and if he has something to push off of, he can scoot himself around on the floor. He's going to be crawling before we know it (and I'll probably never sit down again!).
