This has seemed like the longest winter ever. Even though there is still snow on the ground, the temps have risen enough that we try to play outside for short periods of time. Both the boys absolutely love to be outside, so we are really looking forward to warmer weather! When the snow started meting the tiniest bit, Eli looked outside and said, "I see grass! I haven't seen grass in a hundred years!" It certainly feels that way!
Eli is so funny. He had to take his weapons with him to rest time! He rarely falls asleep during the day (and usually doesn't even lay down) but every once in a while he passes out. I love to see him snuggled with Mr. Bear! (Even if it's in my bed next to a bow and arrow set!)
Asher no longer likes to be IN his walker, but he likes to push it around!
Asher is also developing a sweet tooth. I had to keep swatting him away from Eli's leftover birthday cake! We let him have a few small bites, but his belly is still so sensitive we never know what it going to set him off.
Asher's favorite pastime is emptying things- cupboards, the diaper bag, anything. He takes great joy in it too!
The weekend after my birthday, Eli and I went to see Peter Pan the musical at Elida High School. I was blown away by the talent of the students- it was really an amazing show! Eli thought it was awesome too!
When we're still stuck inside on cold days, Eli likes to practice the trumpet. He still tells me nearly every day that when he grows up he's going to be in the Army and the marching band.
