6 Months Old... half a year! I say it every new month, but it seems impossible that Asher is 6 months old already!
At his well baby visit this month, Asher weighed 15 pounds, 10 ounces and is 26 1/4 inches long. Thankfully we have him stabilized with his reflux and hypoallergenic formula, so the doctor said everything looks good and to continue what we're doing.
At six months, Asher gets up once or twice a night to eat. We have started to half swaddle him at night- we keep one arm out. We are trying to gradually wean him from the swaddle but in a way that keeps him sleeping as much as possible. We recently introduced oatmeal cereal, and it didn't upset his stomach- yay! So, he's currently able to eat squash and oatmeal. We are hoping to try more solids soon, and pray that his sensitive little belly can handle it!
Asher is the sweetest little baby. He has a smile for everyone! He is still working on getting his first tooth, but it is so close, I think it will break through any day now. Asher is getting a lot better at sitting up on his own but he still tips over if he isn't paying attention. It is so fun to see him learn new things!
