Asher- 4 months!

Time is just flying by. Sweet Asher is already 4 months old! Hard to believe.

 

 

Asher is growing more responsive to others every day. He always smiles when he sees his big brother (but Mommy is still his favorite person :)). Eli is pretty fond of Asher, too!

 

 

Asher's bright blue eyes and perfect lips just melt my heart! I've always had a thing for guys with blue eyes!

 

 

At his 4 month checkup, Asher weighed 13 pounds, 9 ounces and was 24.75 inches long. He's still on the small side in the 18th percentile for weight, but since he is growing steadily we aren't as concerned about his weight anymore. Because of his milk protein intolerance, we've been encouraged to wait to start solid foods until he is closer to six months, so for now he's still exclusively eating his hypoallergenic formula.

 

Asher doesn't get a lot of opportunity to lay on the floor and roll around because of his reflux, but this week I had him on his back and he rolled to his side- so I know he can do it! He is getting a lot more head control, and is sitting up (with support) much better than he could last month. He's also getting better at grasping objects!
