At Eli's Three-year-old checkup, he weighed 32.4 pounds, and was 3 ft, 4 inches tall (just slightly off from what we measured on his birthday). The doctor says he's doing good! We are on our second attempt with potty training, and Eli is doing really well. He did good the first time too, but got a stomach virus that set us back for awhile. Now, he is having fewer accidents and asks for "Pie-sir-ee" (aka, Privacy) when he goes to the bathroom!
Eli is also talking much more lately. He loves to tell stories, some of which make absolutely no sense! He loves to help, and does well if he's given a job. Some of his favorite phrases right now are, "Are you kidding me?" (he hears that one often from Mom and Dad!), "Why they do that all the time?", and "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that!" When we put him to bed he usually asks us to sing him the "Jesus song", and recently has started singing along with Jesus Loves Me. It is the sweetest thing in the world to hear his little voice saying the name of Jesus!
