2011 Haver Thanksgiving

What is Thanksgiving (or any day for that matter) without some football?? Here’s Eli in his “ready” stance for kicking:

And while all of us were enjoying this delicious meal…

…Eli was eating cereal! Crazy kid! (He’d had a big lunch, and we didn’t feel like fighting on a holiday. You do what you have to do, right?)

Jason got to spend some time with his family on Thanksgiving too, but since it was during Eli’s naptime, Eli and I didn’t get to go unfortunately. We’re hoping to spend more time with them this holiday season!

We’ve talked a lot recently about being thankful, and some of the things Eli shared that he was thankful for are: football (of course), the doctors that are taking care of Aunt Paula (my aunt who recently had a stroke), and our family. How sweet!
