This is the second time this year we’ve attended the Fun Days at Marmon Valley Farm, and the weather has been terrible both times! The last time was in July and it was miserably hot, and this time we had cold, windy rain! More indoor activities made this trip MUCH more fun, and Eli had a ball on the farm!
The first thing we did was feed some deer!
Then, Eli colored a stick horse and participated in the stick horse rodeo! (On a side note, I beat Jeremiah in a little roping competition!
)
Eli got to ride a big horse, “decorated” a pumpkin (aka, scribbled on it with markers), and petted several types of animals in the petting zoo. We finished up our farm fun with a wagon ride, then went back to Jeremiah and Angie’s house for dinner. Eli was having so much fun all day that he didn’t even notice how tired he was!
