So, it’s the day after Easter, and it was pouring rain all day long- maybe we should think about building an ark?? Eli got lots of new bubble toys for Easter, so we went out on the covered porch to play. It was raining, but at least the temperature was warm enough to go out!
Here’s Eli with his new Lightning McQueen Bubble gun:

BUBBLES!!!!! (It’s very exciting)
The rain stopped for a few minutes, and Eli had his boots on, so I let him go out and splash around for awhile.
This was the one that made a bath necessary:
You know, when we learned we were having a little boy, I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to handle all the gross, messy things that boys like to do. But when he gives me that crooked smile and then beams from ear to ear as he’s making a huge mess, I don’t even think about it! Clothes will wash, right? I wouldn’t pass up those memories for anything!
