First Poverty Knob Cookout of 2011

It’s been a long winter! So long, in fact, that when we dressed Eli in short sleeves, he didn’t know what to do with them! He kept trying to pull them down because he doesn’t even remember wearing short sleeves!

Needless to say, we were thrilled to have a nice day! After church, we worked outside at the house- rolling the lawn, cleaning up the patio furniture, and clearing out the flower beds. And, after Eli’s nap we went to Poverty Knob for the first cookout of the year. Aaaaaaah- there is nothing like sitting outside, eating good food, and being with the people you love!

Eli put some miles on the bubble mower today!

I love how his tongue sticks out when he is concentrating!

Eli took his Daddy and Uncle Miah on a walk around the pond. They saw a big bullfrog in the corner, and it startled Eli when it jumped! He came back around the pond and told us all about it, and even showed us how it jumped.

Eli took Grammy around the pond next and pointed out where he saw a bunny earlier. He wanted Grammy to go get it!
