Jason's buck - November 30, 2015

Jason went hunting at Poverty Knob for the first day of gun season again this year, and he got a beautiful, big buck! He was so excited, and rightfully so! It was an exciting day at the farm because Rob also got a nice buck at almost the same time!

Jason saw the buck move into range and got ready, but had to wait over an hour for the deer to move onto a position where he had a a clear shot. The rest of the guys heard the shot as they were headed in for lunch, and after calling to talk to Jason, they came out to help look for the deer- it was in heavy brush and Jason couldn't see it after he hit it! Jeremiah, Rob, and my Dad circled around and closed in on the area to make sure it didn't get away. A big buck popped up in front of Rob and he shot it, thinking it was Jason's deer, but it turned out to be a completely different one, so they both got great deer that morning! It was an exciting day at Poverty Knob!
