1 Month Old!

Asher is one month old today! How is that possible?! It seems like we just brought him home from the hospital! 

I weighed him today, and he tips the scales at 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Our little peanut is growing like a weed! 

 

 

I tried taking some pictures downstairs with his month sticker, but he wasn't too thrilled :) When I brought him back up & laid him on the changing table though, he was all smiles!

Asher still eats every 2-3 hours usually. Every once in awhile he will be sleeping hard and go 4 hours, but that is rare (and never at night!) We have a decent system worked out now. Jason stays up late and feeds him around 11-11:30 while I go to bed, then I get up with him the rest of the night- usually around 1:30, 4:30, and 7. That allows each of us to get a few hours of much-needed, uninterrupted sleep. We wouldn't complain if he'd go a little longer between night time feedings!

Asher started wearing 0-3 month clothes this week and is just transitioning to size 1 diapers. We are so thankful for his growth! His skin had been peeling really badly as he finishes shedding that newborn skin, and he's developing a bald spot on the top front part if his head-- I think from all the snuggling! He snuggles under our chins so much that he's rubbed the hair right off his head!
