Eli started preschool today and I think it will prove to be one of the best decisions we've ever made! He's attending preschool at Gardendale Church, and I love the way it's set up. There is only one class of both 3 and 4-year-olds, only 12 kids total, and he has a teacher and an aide in the room. They go to school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00-11:30 am.
The first day, he was pretty excited to get going!
After I took this picture, I had to hurry him into the garage. The school bus was coming for the elementary kids, and I think he would have gotten on it!
When we got to school, most of the other kids were crying or sticking close to their parents, but Eli walked right in and sat in his chair. He couldn't have cared less if Jason and I left right them!
A couple minutes later, I turned around and caught this face! Oh my, he's bored already!
Eli was all smiles when I picked him up- he had a blast!
