Nashville Trip

Jason was able to attend the Premier Conference again this year, and it was held in Nashville, TN. We were fortunate to be able to go with him, and we stayed in the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Hotel! This is our third visit to a Gaylord Resort, and the Opryland is the best so far!



We arrived Monday night after a dinner at Rafferty’s (Jason’s favorite!) and on Tuesday we went to the Nashville Shores waterpark. Jason’s conference started Wednesday morning, so Eli and I hung out in the hotel pool that morning. It was incredibly hot!
Thursday, Eli and I went to the Nashville Zoo. It was extremely hot and humid again, but we still had a good time!
 
One of Eli’s favorite things was the Meerkat Exhibit. Some of them came right up to the glass and interacted with him!



My favorite part of the zoo was seeing this jaguar (below) catch and eat a bird that landed in its enclosure! It was good to see that it still has some skills from the wild!



Another of Eli’s favorite things was the “Jungle Gym” playground. There was a large, padded shelter where he could run and jump- perfect for kids his age!


After getting cleaned up and resting for a bit, we met up with the Casto family for dinner and a walk around the hotel.

Overall, this trip went MUCH smoother than last year’s- thank goodness!
