After the excitement and busy-ness of the holidays, January always seems to fly by before I know it. This year, Jason and I made some major decisions in January. While I was on break from school, we committed to praying about whether or not I should be working. A few weeks later, we decided that I would submit my resignation at Elida. What a tough decision! I love my job, but we truly feel that it is in the best interest of our family for me to be home full-time. Exciting! (But scary at the same time!) It will be a big adjustment, but definitely worth it to spend time with Eli- and any other kids that might come along!
Eli is becoming quite the helper. So much so that it becomes hard to get anything done because his "helping" doesn't always help get the job done! I finally figured out a way to vacuum while he's awake- by giving him his own vacuum! Why didn't I think of this earlier??
For Christmas, we got several animated movies and Eli has become obsessed with Beauty and the Beast. He LOVES the beast and can even say "beast"- which he does every time he knows the beast is going to be on screen. I could recite the movie line-by-line at this point, we've watched it so many times!
