After opening gifts at home, we went to Poverty Knob for brunch and ... even more presents! Eli saw his first gift, and probably wouldn't have needed anything else- this tricycle is awesome!! He climbed right on and wanted to go!
Family picture time:
Eli is quite spoiled "well-loved" by this family! He had so many gifts to open, he got overwhelmed after awhile and we had to finish for him. He started going a little loopy when opening one huge gift and just started throwing wrapping paper everywhere!
One of my favorite parts of the morning was watching Eli enjoy playing "Santa" and carrying gifts to everyone. If we didn't give them to him fast enough and explain who they went to, he'd just pick up a gift and take it to someone! It was so much fun!
After our time at Poverty Knob, we took Eli home to decompress a litte - he never really napped, but at least he got some rest before we went to the Hays Family gathering. We had a great time there too, but with so many people and kids running around, we didn't get any pictures :(
All in all, it was a great day. We were, once again, overwhelmed by everyone's generosity and ended the day feeling very blessed!
