Eli's Baby Dedication at Lima Community Church

This morning was Eli's baby dedication at Lima Community Church, where we've been attending for the past three years or so. To us, baby dedication is a public statement that we are going to raise Eli in a way that will help him come to know God and grow up to be a godly man. We promise as parents to be good examples to him and raise him in our faith. The pastor annointed Eli with oil and prayed for him to grow up to be a godly man.

Eli didn't want Pastor Dan to hold him, but he didn't cry!

After the church service, everyone came back to the house for brunch (which was really yummy!) It was nice to have the family together and be able to celebrate this important day in Eli's life. Eli looked so darn cute, I wanted to get a few pictures of him!
