So, Eli has enjoyed opening the cupboard doors for quite some time. Now he's figured out that the things in the cupboards actually come out! His new favorite activity is emptying the cupboards! So glad everyone spent money on toys for Christmas- he spends more time playing with plastic containers than anything else!
One of his other favorite cupboards has all our pots and pans as well as a crock with a bunch of spatulas, turners, and various kitchen gadgets. We're learning that Eli is VERY persistent, and he doesn't quit until every last utensil is out of the crock!
Haha! This cupboard is LOCKED! We only locked the ones that have chemicals or other things that could hurt Eli. I figure it's not going to hurt anything for him to pull things out, and eventually we will teach him to put things back too. In the meantime, it keeps my cupboards clean and organized because I'm constantly going through things and putting them back!
