Sooo, Eli has been sitting up with assistance the past week or so. He no longer is satisfied just laying on our laps, he has to be up where he can see what is going on. So I figured he would love one of these Bumbo seats, but I'm too "frugal" (aka CHEAP) to pay $55 for a foam seat with a tray attached that will only be used for a short time. My mother-in-law went to a Mom-to-Mom sale in Columbus last weekend and scored a Bumbo with tray for only $25!! That I can handle! Eli loves it so far, especially when I put it on the kitchen counter so he can see what I'm doing (which I know is not recommended, but he's within arm's reach all the time, so don't call child protective services on me!!)

He looks like such a big boy sitting up like that! (I used to feed Kyleigh in her Bumbo atop a table when she was started baby food, giving her my complete attention. People were like "Danger, Danger", but it's not like I left her to go take a shower or something!) I do remember when she learned how to get out, though...Josiah, too! (Both were safely on carpeted floors when they learned this!) They're not supposed to be able to get out, but my kids are sneaky like that! Anyway, love the seat---and the great deal you guys got!
